In this collaboration, Maria Jatzlau enlisted certain artists and asked them to work on one of her photographs.

 

Jonathan Esperester is a Berlin-based artist whose collage-style paintings are super unique. He mixes materials like oil, acrylics, airbrush, and ink, creating this awesome tension between surface and depth. He’s all about „magical thinking“ and loves messing with human perception and reality, using little objects as „totems“ to give his work a surreal, nostalgic feel. Maria have seen his stuff in several galleries, and now she had the honor of him taking the time to create a blend of Esperester and Jatzlau (lol). She's been a massive fan of Jonathan’s work for years and totally dig his style.
